NA-BO is me, Naomi Bond. A freelance graphic designer and illustrator. I have over 16 years experience in the industry. I design fun, colourful and bold branding, print, pattern, packaging and illustrations, and I have heaps of enthusiasm.
I believe each client is unique, and that they should receive design that is too. I aim to produce work that will inspire and be an authentic representation of the client, creating a solid identity which will engage with their audience. I begin most projects using good old fashioned pen and paper and create hand lettering where appropriate, and like to add quite a bit of colour to brighten and bring life to my work. There will be no dull design on my watch. I am incredibly lucky in that I love my job and there's nothing else that I'd rather do.
With the experience I have, I am able to take on small brands and work with the big boys too. I see projects through from concept to completion but also have plenty of talented, creative people that I can collaborate with that include; web designers, illustrators, photoshop wizards, videographers, photographers and copywriters. My ideal brief would be branding for independent female start up businesses. I really enjoy being a part of creating a visual identity and find it empowering to witness a new venture take off and being a part of that journey.
My partner Kev is a freelance web designer, and we have two little girls, Amelie and Willow - our mini designers in the making! I'm the boss of coziness. Christmas is my favourite thing, and I love anything sparkly. My tipple is a dirty pint of cider and black with a (environmentally-friendly, re-usable, rainbow-coloured) straw. I have a soft-spot for swing music and Tony Bennett in particular. I live by the sea in North Wales with close links to cities such as Liverpool and Manchester in the North West. I enjoy a kitchen disco with my kids and feel like a #winner if I can be in bed for 9.30pm.
If you want to work with me get in touch. I'm very friendly.
