HAF brows
The Brief
Create branding and print roll-out for a specialist semi-permanent brow technician.
Helen initially approached me to design a soft, feminine and professional looking brand for her new business venture. Semi-permanent makeup and Micro-pigmentation for brows is a popular cosmetic treatment which delivers a fresh, professional and vibrant look.
This beauty procedure features multiple techniques to achieve flawless looking brows. A fading ombré effect is used and something that I have tried to incorporate subtly into the design. I have used a rose gold gradient within the custom logotype so hint as this blending of hues.
Other features of the logo include fading weight of the supporting lettering. This is representing the natural tapering thickness to the tail of the brow. HAF uses a slight serif for sophistication and an arched eyebrow graphic above - a mark which is the circumflex accent above the A character. This is called a 'To Bach' - 'little roof' in Welsh.
The colour palette is simple with tones of peach, rose gold and blush pink. This with the gradient background feels clear, minimal and dreamy rather than stark and clinical.
Following the Brand development we took the styling over to business cards, price lists and lots of consultation and consent forms plus information sheets.
